WEATHERFORD, TEXAS SENIOR PORTRAIT & LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHER

For the seniors and families who want photos that feel honest, nostalgic + unforgettable.

READY WHEN YOU ARE

I’m Kristen — photographer, antique enthusiast, and storyteller.

Photography has shaped my life in ways I can’t fully put into words. Family has always meant everything to me—slow evenings on the patio with my husband, lemonade in hand, watching the sunset and appreciating the simplicity of country living. I often find myself missing the days with my grandparents, when Thanksgiving tables were fuller and Christmas mornings felt nostalgic and full of wonder. The older I get, the more I value photographs—the way they take us back to the moments we’d give anything to hold onto again... it's one of the many reasons why I became a photographer.

CLIENT TESTIMONIALS

Hannah

"Kristen is so talented in so many different forms of photography and that is very hard to come by. Not only is her photography great, but she is genuinely one of the sweetest people ever. It’s so easy to talk to her and there is never a point where I felt awkward or uncomfortable. She makes being in front of the camera so easy!! I couldn’t recommend her more."

Robin

"Kristen was so awesome with my daughter's senior photos! She was patient for our outfit changes and took time to find the perfect shots.. even in the Texas heat. The location she chose was *chef's kiss* and the results were PHENOMENAL. I'd trust Kristen again & again. 10/10!!"

Crosbi (2026 Senior Rep)

“Kristen took the most amazing senior photos for me! Each and every shoot brings out all the fun and exciting parts of senior year. Kristen is the sweetest photographer and always makes everyone feel comfortable and brings out their true smiles.

Hallie & Caleb

“100% recommend!!! She made my Pinterest dreams come true. Honestly, every image from my son's cake smash session exceeded my Pinterest Board! Kristen does amazing work and is such a sweet person.”

my philosophy:

I believe in capturing fleeting moments and turning them into something you can hold onto forever—photos that feel real, confident + authentically you.

Huge One Tree Hill fan! & I'm here to say Nathan got it right: One day you’re 17, dreaming about someday—and then suddenly, you’re in it.

I believe every season of life is worth remembering. The growth, the milestones, the quiet in-between moments—this is your story. From senior year to motherhood to building something you’re proud of, it all matters.

I’ll bring the vision, the light, and the guidance—you just show up. Together, we’ll create something you’ll never want to forget.

Over the years...

I picked up my first camera at 17, and shot my first wedding shortly after. By the age of 22, I photographed the cover of the Parker County Football Preview Magazine., which included 7 school districts in the area.

2011

Where it all began

After receiving my BFA in Photography in 2016, I interned for The Texas Rangers and shortly after, for The University of Alabama, where I covered 21 sports teams and taught student-interns. ROLL TIDE FOREVER!

2017

Internships that started it all

I was furloughed in 2021 from my position as the Director of Marketing and Creative Services at Henderson State, I knew I needed to step back from working at universities and focus on finding more transferrable skills. I was a recruiter for 2 years before going back into social media!

2020

Creative Director - Henderson State

I briefly served as a Communications Director for Chick-fil-A in Granbury, and although I loved the community aspect of the job, and thoroughly enjoyed creating content for social media, I knew that realistically, there was no way to pursue my photo dream during this time. I took a leap of faith, and my husband encouraged me to go full-time, and I've never looked back. It's been a whirlwind but I wouldn't trade it for the world.

How I approach your story

Part cinematic, part deeply personal, entirely you.

My approach is centered around creating images that feel like memories instead of moments staged for a camera. I choose locations based on emotion, movement, light, and the feeling you want your photos to carry years from now.

I’ll guide you when needed so nothing ever feels awkward or forced, but the best moments usually happen in the in-between — when you forget the camera is there and simply exist in the moment. That’s where the magic lives.

My work blends:
• Flash photography paired with natural light for a gallery that feels both nostalgic and editorial
• Gentle direction that enhances connection instead of over-posing
• Meaningful locations and landscapes that help tell your story naturally

Your story doesn’t need to be overly curated to be beautiful.
It deserves to be felt honestly — and preserved that way too.

I've held a camera in my hand since I was 17 *shown below.... at a high school game in Small Town, Texas. When they tell you it feels like yesterday and also a million years ago, they're absolutely right.

I could live off coffee & believe that naps are one of life's greatest luxuries.

Peek into my life..

To this day, my courthouse wedding day is the absolute best day of my life.

Antique shops and wandering aimlessly in towns that barely have stop lights will always be one of my favorite things to do.

It's a running joke that the "Kristens" and "Rebeccas" of the world are the most creative.... seriously, there were so many of us in college, our teachers couldn't keep track of us.

Tuscaloosa, Alabama will forever be one of my favorite places in the world. It allowed me to grow, and develop my photography, pursue my graduate degree, and truly discover what I wanted out of life.

Beyond my passion for photography, I’m known for proving people wrong (it’s a superpower), meticulously organizing every last detail in my planner, and yelling "ROLL TIDE" every chance I get.

The heart behind the lens

A childhood spent outdoors. Mesmerizing every sunset.

A few things I love (because you should know the human behind the camera)
 • Rainy days. Seriously, they calm my soul
 • Sunsets & time spent on the lake
 • Dogs that think you're their entire world
 • Music that feels like a memory
 • Campfire smores
 • Films with soft light and slow moments
 • Pottery, DIY, and HGTV for when I need a little bit of inspiration
