Vintage Senior Session at The Crazy Water Hotel (1930s Old Money Aesthetic Photoshoot)

A Timeless Look: Senior Portraits with a Film Photography Feel
The historic Crazy Water Hotel built in 1912 is giving classy, whimsical, elegant story vibes. From it’s old school but modernly-updated lobby where you can shop around and even grab a sandwich or coffee; or sit at the grand piano and play a tune or two; and up on the 7th floor to check out the beautiful natural lit ballroom; which also has access to their famous rooftop that is truly breath-taking!
I reached out to my Class of 2026 Senior Rep team to see if anyone would be interested in an old money themed photoshoot with a 1930s vintage aesthetic—think retro elegance, timeless style, and effortless class—and these girls absolutely SHOWED UP.

I’m so thrilled when I get to explore new creative outlets while photographing beautiful buildings with so much history. The Crazy Water Hotel provided the perfect vintage backdrop for this senior session. This viral pantyhose trend was something I’d always wanted to incorporate into a shoot, and I’m so glad I did. The result? Modern images with a classic film photography feel.

These senior portraits blend contemporary creativity with timeless vintage style—exactly the old money aesthetic we were going for. Whether you’re planning your own senior session or looking for inspiration for a styled photo shoot, this session shows how to nail the 1930s retro look.
