A Quick Christmas Session That Sparked Holiday Magic

When Ava reached out about scheduling a portrait session downtown, I jumped at the opportunity—but nothing could have prepared me for the vision she’d create. She walked in wearing a stunning burgundy tulle dress, sparkly boots, and a show-stopping fur jacket that stopped everyone in their tracks. I knew instantly we’d capture something special.

Our session lasted 15 minutes at a single location in MineralWells, yet we came away with an abundance of beautiful shots for her mom to choose from for her print order. The energy was incredible, and the results spoke for themselves. In fact, her mom loved the experience so much that she booked a session later that week with her youngest daughter—because why should the Christmas magic be limited to one?

What I love most about winter photography is how it pushes me creatively.
