When this Santo high school student reached out to me about scheduling senior portraits, I knew that Chandor Gardens would be an amazing choice. The perfect blend of ancient Chinese architecture and the elegance of a formal English garden, it has the best of both worlds. Chandor Gardens offers 3.5-acres of wonder at every turn. We began our session under a white pergola, walking past a beautiful brick staircase covered in greenery. After opting for a dress, we ended her senior portraits near a turquoise door, and bridge, nestled in the center of the garden. From the 30 foot man-made waterfall, to the various soothing fountains and picturesque pathways, the gardens offer classic, breathtaking views at every turn. It offers natural, stunning outdoor photos for portraits. This senior session at Chandor Gardens gives variety in clothing and backdrops.
How to plan outfits for your Senior Session at Chandor Gardens
- Opt for solid colors instead of small patterns. Larger patterns aren’t as distracting for the camera.
- Colors that reflect confidence: Remember how bright colors are against your skin.
- Wear something you feel comfortable sitting, standing, and kneeling down in. If you find yourself dancing in it, bring it with you!
- Consider a casual + dressy option for more variety.
- Remember the weather and keep the location, season, and wind in mind! Layer when you have to.
